Request Course Recording
Before the beginning of each semester, an IIT Staff member will contact course coordinators for SoP timetable courses held in “capture-ready” classrooms (1116, 2002, 2006 and many classrooms in HSLC) to determine whether they want their class to be recorded.
Even if you did not originally request that your course be recorded but would like to begin recording or would like to discuss the implications that Lecture Capture would have on teaching and learning in your course, please contact Amy Childs or Mike Pitterle.
To request recording of a single lecture or other event, please visit the Special Event Recording page.
Permission to Capture Policy
For courses that are recorded, the course coordinator is responsible for informing all instructors and guest speakers that course lectures are captured and archived. If email is provided for speaker when recording request is submitted, IIT staff can have the capture system send an email requesting the permission to record.
In the event that a particular lecture should not be recorded, the course coordinator must inform IIT staff of this need in advance of the lecture.
